This is a great intro to poker and strategy plays while explains exactly why each move is made, so the same plays can be applied in the real world in similar situations. There were definitely a lot of poker words I had to look up so a built in poker dictionary would have been nice, but definitely worth the time and money and I really hope this gets some more updates and attention at some point because its a really great start!
After playing and placing second in my local game after many months of loosing, I can say that this app pays for itself.

The price of packs has come down a lot making this a solid value. Jonathan Little is a top pro and offers solid advice. However, there are quite a few bits of advice I dont particularly care for. One example is how he likes to vary his bet sizing depending on the bets intended purpose. Id think this could be a potential tell. I dont mind it in certain situations against certain player types, but I think its overused here. With that said, making a more standard sized bet is usually still called a "good move." Its just not the "best move" per the recommendation. So its just a matter of opinion which is fine. Little does a great job of explaining the thought process behind which moves he recommends and thats what is truly important--learning how to think in certain situations. All in all, I think its an outstanding training tool.
Some bad moments
This is probably the best poker learning tool for bet sizes and the time and place to make those bets but you only get 2 free scenarios and the cost for each additional lesson that you can complete in 2 minutes is a joke.
I would gladly spend more money on this if I got more out of the money I spent.

This is the best app I could find. Goes into detail but is simplified through simulation.
