Tournament Poker Coach Hodnocení aplikace

Questionable

I honestly can’t make rhyme or reason of his decisions or choices. One playing deck will seem to counter act a previous one. Plus some of his refs go against what some of the best poker players say, especially from late position. I don’t claim to know much about poker, but I can pick up on inconsistencies.

Love it!

This has to be the quickest way to improve your game. I highly recommend it!

Overall this is a good trainer

If you’re looking for a poker trainer - this is a good one. There’s nothing like just diving in and playing hands. It’s a bit pricy, but worth it. If you’re the app’s creator and you’re looking for some feedback — this app is so clunky and bloated. Every hand I have to touch the screen pre-hand, pre-flop, flop, turn, river, post-river. And not just once, but twice every street. And I have to sit through watching cards being dealt and players “thinking” before making their action. Can we just get to it? And get to it in a way that I can go quickly? Reading the excerpts is valuable — the first time. But can you please give the option of getting rid of them? I like to play this over and over and over again. And it’s quite annoying to do so when I have to touch the screen so much and wait for bots to make their action. Also, the concept of adding different packs is great, but they can be done better. I didn’t always know which pro was training me. And info from one pro definitely conflicted with info from another. There’s no one way to play poker, and I really like that a few of you teamed up to do this. But please make it clear who is teaching what. I’ve got JL talking about 3x the BB early, 2.2x mid, then 2x late. Then all of the sudden MB comes in randomly raising 7.5x the BB. Say what? Different styles is great exposure. Point it out. Capitalize on it. Please add new hand packs. This stuff with antes — when the BB ante has been standard for a while now — shows me how outdated the material is. And please use real hands from real tournaments. You’re in a unique situation to do this. The blending of tournaments wasn’t actually all that helpful. The one that focused on a final table of a single tournament was great — for example. More of that! Sometimes I didn’t know if you were joking about hands. AE showcased a hand where he had me bluffing three streets on a K-high, untextured board and QQ laid down river, after calling flop and turn. The river bet wasn’t an all-in or anything either. It was a standard bet on deep stacks. That really seemed like a don’t try this at home moment because I can say with certainty no one is ever folding to me in that spot! I’d love to know if it actually happens at your bigger games! Thanks for reading this long note. I really just want you to build a great product. There’s so much potential here. I’d pay for extra hand packs. You can get a ton of in-app purchases out of me if you’d just update this thing and make some minor improvements!

The coach

Why is there no option to turn off the feedback? I just wanted to play poker and this one looks good! But the coach is annoying because I’m not able to play actual poker.

Excellent practice

Excellent practice tool Really gets you thinking Like the way it pushes the habit of categorizing players and engaging the game with strategy

Too complicated

I just wanted to learn how to play the basic game and they don’t even have a tutorial option. You just get thrown in a game with no explanation of the rules. I don’t care about the hand packs or tournament situations if I don’t even know how to play to begin with.

Great app

This is good app if you are looking to improve your poker game good stuff

Play tight protect your blinds

To aggressive betting into a pair on the board can can can take you out of the game, three of a kind full house four of a kind you don’t get to a final table betting this way. Big continuous bets are fine but not with a small pair and a flush draw on the river

Great advice. Decent UI/UX

This app is filled with really high-quality poker tournament advice. I wish the expert advice sections did not require scrolling. The presentation of those could be much better. But this app is totally worth it and pays for it self

So Glad I Found This App!

I’ve been looking for a way to assess my Texas Holdem skill level. I just played my first live Satellite Tournament a few weeks ago, and wish I’d found this before. The explanations are detailed and clear; I’ll definitely be using this to prepare for my next event!

Please fix

It does not work with latest version of iOS.

Real time exp

What’s great About this app is that you learn as you go, while you are in sort of a real life situation. The reasoning and explanations are clear and easy to understand. 10 packs can be purchased individually so it is affordable.

I like it

Most poker helpers fill their tips with rapid fire jargon. Not productive if you’re trying to teach and attract new players. OK if you want to get criticized by veteran hip players who think they are pros.

Hand pack reviews

Interesting so far...hoping there are hand packs to figure out your odds coming soon. Not enough hand packs right now. Lots of potential.

Teaches how to play and bet!

I am a newbie to poker, but thanks to this app and their interactive feedback, I’ll be in Vegas in no time! Thank guys!

Great training tool!

I just started taking poker seriously. This is a great training tool. I love how you get to play the hands and learn from your mistakes. I just bought my first hand pack. Very excited! Thanks Devs!

Fresh review

An outdated app that 2 years behind on current stuff. Good interface though. Wish developers and the Pros would actually still contribute.

My first step in my poker life

I started to use this app in my first days of poker and I love it very useful to me! And I still use this app.

Learning tool

Very helpful instructions without mathematical calculations. Easy to understand rationals. Great learning tool.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I can feel the valuable improvement with each hand I play. When I’m frustrated that I made a wrong call, I can almost always agree with their logic or at least appreciate it. If you are brand new to poker, the terminology may be difficult.

Great for learning advanced concepts.

Best poker app for learning the game at a high level.

Good app for learning

It really helps guide you through your plays without feeling pressured to make a fast move as in live play. Interface is a little confusing so one star off but 4 stars overall.

Not very helpful to those just picking up the game

I want to learn the game, and have only caught glimpses on tv. I like that it tells you what move you should have made when you do things wrong, but the long winded explanations jam packed with jargon, I get so lost and stop trying. If you’re new to the game, don’t use this. If you’re somewhat familiar with the game, I’m sure this would be pretty helpful

Long time player

Since I've gotten married I have not had time to play much. However, once a in while I sign up for tournaments and this app helps me stay fresh between those times I get to play

Fun Learning App

Innovative way to see the insights and decision making that goes into a hand. I like the small rewards for good decisions and the app keeps my attention.

Great teaching tool!

I'm loving it!

Still learning

Continuation betting has been well explained. I am at a critical stage in my play - I'm an older guy who plays more aggressively than most my age. The ap has help a great deal.

Love interractive quizzes with commentary?

This app is great in that it gives interractive quizzes with commentary regarding both pre and postflop decisions. The content is written by an incredible set of pros who have won tens of millions combined in tournaments and cash games.

Excellent

Great tutorial; strategy app

Superb training!

This app is AMAZING and well worth the pennies it costs. I haven't even begun to tap its possibilities. Great for keeping the poker mind sharp.

Great app!

Love this

Excellent perspective

This site give you an excellent perspective on went to bet and when to hold back to maximize your earnings. Highly recommended.

Good app

I can see how this is a good teaching tool. Would be nice if it had a glossary of terms. Examples would be affected stack size coordinated and drive flops and effective stack size. Would like to see a pack it was a poker dictionary. Still learning a lot though.

Crap app

Forces u to make moves u dont want to

At last, a TEACHING app!

Love this app because it's about helping you improve the fundamental skill in poker, namely decision making. It guides you through the process of thinking through a hand in different scenarios and how to approach the game. Highly recommended!

Dillinger TBR

This app is amazing for beginners and pros... no matter what your skill level is or how long you've been playing there's always room to learn and sharpen up your game... this was an excellent idea... the app works perfectly and I'm thankful for all the hard work everyone put in to make this happen! Thumbs up and 5 stars all day long !!! Thank you !!

Interactive feedback.

This app is amazing. It puts you in the hot seat of real hands from actual tournaments and allows you to make choices and gives you feedback for them. If your choice was poor; the app will explain concisely why your choice was not the greatest and moves forward with the hand using the correct choice. You move through the hand making choices usually till the river or till you fold. (Folding is an important lesson the game tries to teach in certain situations.) This app is awesome and worth every penny! (Buy the big bundle and get everything) Become a winner today!!!

Interesting app.

I am enjoying this app it has some useful info.

Educational

I am a beginner at Texas Holdem. The App has help me understand some of the fundamentals of the game.

Great learning tool

Great way to practice hands.

Short, concise

This app allows you to look into how a pro views particular poker situations. It's short, concise, and does the job very well.

Nice poker helper

I like the app, it's clean and simple which is what I was looking for. I think there are areas for improvement to make it really nice. One would be a larger text window for the feedback. It makes you scroll almost every time. A second would be to provide you the raising choices in terms of the BB or the pot (i.e.: make a 3x bet or. 1/3,1/2 pot bet) it goes into this detail in the explanation but I think it would help the users memory more in those terms. Overall nice job.

Valuable Help for most

This app is like a college course on how to bet Texas Hold me in every type of playing format. Only real pros wouldn't gain helpful strategies from this app. Each hand is from a setting at some tournament event and compares your moves to the pro who played this hand. It even tells you the tendencies of the players you are playing against. Would recommend to anyone serious about learning more about playing better. You earn points you can use in later hands.....you won't regret getting this app if you want to become a smarter player anywhere😎.

Excellent

Thoroughly enjoying this app!

Great trainer

I found the explanations very helpful, and using multiple example hands reinforced the concepts. Has been a big help in my poker league.

Worth the money

Worth the money

Gives great advice and insights!

I play poker often with groups of friends and was curious to see what I could actually learn. You get really detailed feedback after every move, which is fantastic and actually helpful. I'd recommend this to anyone who has a grasp on how to play texas hold 'em and wants to get better at poker. And maybe get more of their friends' money.

Valuable

This is a great app, both for learning and enhancing your game.
